Recognition Process

CHECKS IN THE PROCESS OF RECOGNITION

HEI Eligibility:- i) 5 years of existence, ii) NAAC Score of minimum 3.26" and iii) In the Top-100 in overall category in the NIRF ranking for at least two years during the previous three years"

HEls is offering similar programme in Regular mode (classroom teaching) or in Open and Distance Learning mode and from which at least one batch has been passed out

Online Course or Programme requiring Practical or laboratory courses as a curricular requirement shall not be conducted

Approval:- Approval of Statutory Bodies under Act, Approval from concerned Regulatory authorities

Developing and production of Online Courses a programmes:- In-house design and development of contents, '4' Quadrant Approach Learning, Proctored examination

Programme Delivery:-Through SWAYAM Portal or Other learning platform with approval of Expert Committee

Quality Assurance:- Establish CIQA, Programme development and monitoring, learning environment and learner support, Teaching quality and staff development

Academic and Administrative Staff:- Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Assistant Registrar, Programme Coordinator, Course Coordinator, Course Mentor, Examiners, Technical

*Provided that items (ii) and (iii) shall not be applicable to government Open University till National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) or similar accreditation system and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) are made available for such Open University
